Enquiry

Please contact us on sales@bremaco.co.uk with all of the information you have. Photos, videos, sheet data, descriptions, all can help us gather as much information as possible before attending site.

First Survey

Once we have received your enquiry, we shall organise a visit to your site at a time convenient for you to complete a survey. This survey is for pricing purposes only. Please keep in mind that your AHU will need to be shut down prior to any survey taking place. All shut downs must be by the customer.

Quotation

Once your site visit has taken place, we shall go away and produce a quotation for the works which you require.

Order and Second Survey

Once a purchase order has been received, we will send further operatives to site to carry out a second detailed survey for measurements so we can manufacture your coils. Once this has been done, they will be put into manufacture.

What you Receive

Installed Coils

After your coils have been manufactured, we will attend site to remove your existing coils and install your new ones. Your old coils will be disposed of by Bremaco.

Testing

All factory built coils are pressure tested underwater to a pressure of 20 Bar for 30 minutes using oxygen free dry nitrogen. If the coil is built on site it will be tested on site, without the use of water, using compressed air, to 8.5 Bar for 30 minutes

Certificates

You will receive pressure test certificates for all of your coils whether they were tested on site or in the factory.

Drawings

As built drawings will be provided so you can add these to your O&M (operation and maintenance) manual for future reference.

With proper maintenance, AHU coils can last between 10–15 years. However, this varies depending on system usage, water quality, and environmental conditions.

What causes coil corrosion?

Coil corrosion can be caused by poor water treatment, external environmental factors, lack of maintenance, or air contamination (e.g. from nearby industrial activity).

Can you replace coils on older or discontinued AHUs?

Yes. We can fabricate replacement coils to match the original dimensions and performance requirements, even for older or obsolete units.

Do you provide specialist coils

Yes, for buildings such as hospitals, our coils are built to HTM (Health Technical Memorandum) -03 specifications.
